MATT'S CINEMA DIARY: December 7-13, 2015

Matt's personal experience at various cinematic screenings throughout the week. In a spanking brand new edited format. This week, screenings of THE MARTIAN, THE WALK, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD and ROOM.

This is probably the most mainstream entry in my cinema diaries thus far. Indeed, it has been the most mainstream week as far as my weekly cinematic ventures are concerned since I have moved to Prague in the Czech Republic, a city that has delighted me week in and week out with its constant offerings of a riveting cinematic programme scattered about its countless great arthouse cinema venues.

To be fair, I was also very busy, therefore it is also an subpar entry. My time was so limited that I was only able to attend four screenings. But it was great to be able to catch up on some films that I had missed on their initial run in cinema, due mostly to the fact that generally speaking I prefer to attend world cinema stuff, or films that get a limited theatrical run. And in the process, I inevitably end up missing them altogether.

So, without further ado, here is the new entry in my Cinema Diary, where I will talk about my experiences of attending the screenings of THE MARTIAN by RIDLEY SCOTT, THE WALK by ROBERT ZEMECKIS, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD by GEORGE MILLER and ROOM by LENNY ABRAHAMSON.
