"Talking animals animated version of the famous Robin Hood tale is enjoyable, adorable and intelligent by adding interesting side characters, most notably a rooster as a singing storyteller who recounts the story, and representing the characters well with suitable animal forms. Okay, maybe it does lack a little enthusiasm and it doesn’t quite strike the same nostalgic chords as the best works from the golden age of Disney animation features, but it still features some good animation work and some memorable sing along tunes."
