50th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival competition line-up unveiled

The new films by Dietrich Bruggemann, Anca Damian and Mark Cousins are among the highlights of this year's edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The competition line-up of this edition, which will be the 50th of its existance, was announced yesterday.

 

“This year, we are excited to present the youngest competition line-up in the KVIFF’s recent history, the average age of the filmmaker in the main festival section is 39 years old,” says KVIFF’s artistic director Karel Och.
