"A gripping space drama about one of the most infamous events in space exploration history. Filmmaker Ron Howard tells the story of NASA having to devise a strategy to return Apollo 13 and the three men on board to Earth safely. 

The suspenseful atmosphere of the film is quite remarkable, as well as the portrayal of the characters' plights and struggles to keep an emotional balanced whilst put in such extreme situations. Certain elements are unnecessarily overtly melodramatic, but much more moderate than most of Howard's similar works. 

Apollo 13 is further enriched by the excellent performances delivered by its great cast."
