"Nosferatu roams the street in Venice in search of love to achieve mortality. Bound to disappoint both the art film viewers and the horror fans as the film falls into neutral ground between intellectual and brain dead. It is simply too hard to read the director's intentions - indeed, this might be because the production was of a tumultuous nature and the original one was fired and led to a strange mess of a combined effort - and even the Venice shots make the film either seem overblown or beautiful."
