9/8/2015 - Poland named this year's partner country of Sarajevo Film Festival's CineLink

Poland will be this year's Partner Country of Sarajevo Film Festival's CineLink - the festival's Co-production market.

The event co-incides with the 10th anniversary of the Polish Film Institute. For the occasion, there will also be a special presentation of the Polish film industry, and Robert Balinski, co-production expert at the Polish Film Institute, will be speaking about co-producing in the digital world at the Regional Forum.

A delegation of around 15 Polish producers and distributors will be present at CineLink, where they will be meeting their Southeast European counterparts over the course of four intensive days.

The CineLink Partner Country Initiative has been running for more than a decde and aims to strengthen the working relationship between the Southeast European film industry and its international counterpart. Previous partners countries included the UK in 2014, Germany in 2013 and France in 2012.

CineLink runs from August 19 to August 22 and is a development financing platform for around 30 carefully selected regional feature length fiction films of European Co-production. For more information on CineLink, click here to visit their official website.
