"The film takes place at a stage show and is divided into three parts; in the first a young man interrupts the show claiming he has more important things to say, in the second, the same story is repeated at different speeds and with scenes of disasters eventually filling the screen and then in the third and final episode the biblical story of Job is told. De Oliveira takes jabs at cinema in experimental form, but once the first segment ends, the film dies and becomes mind dulling."
