CineCola's 60th Cork Film Festival Top 10

CineCola picks the Top 10 films from the features viewed and reviewed on the website, that screened at the landmark 60th edition of the CORK FILM FESTIVAL, one of the longest running cultural events in Ireland and the oldest film festival in Ireland.

This year, the CORK FILM FESTIVAL celebrated its 60th edition, and continued in its scale of growth that saw a drastic change in the running of the festival in latter years. With a riveting programme comprising films from all over the world, and countless highlight events that supported the festival's tagline of "films, music, ideas", it is no wonder that the festival was well attended among the inhabitants of the Irish city, and also among an always more international audience that traveled from all parts of the world to attend what is quickly becoming one of the highlight film events of the year.

As with the past two editions, CineCola attended the festival with high hopes and expectations, and was not let down by the excellent selection and the vast variety of features that screened in Cork from the 6th to the 15th of November.

Here is a list of the ten best features that CineCola viewed at the festival, and reviewed on the website. This list is in order of preference and only includes the features that were viewed at the 60th edition of the CORK FILM FESTIVAL. It does not include films that were featured in the programme of the festival, but had been previously viewed and reviewed by CineCola at other festival earlier this year. It also, naturally and out of respect for the films, does not include the films that were in the programme but not viewed and reviewed by CineCola. However, it does include the feature films that were viewed and reviewed from all any section of the Cork Film Festival the programme of the 60th CORK FILM FESTIVAL.
