"Though this is not the best of Hughes film, it is still iconic and shows how closely he could make films that kids could identify with. In this one, a couple of high school nerds, in a modern experiment ala Frankenstein, create a woman that will do whatever they want her to and make anything happen. The film is pretty much the dream of every boy hitting puberty, and although after a while it becomes just another romantic comedy, it’s never sloppy, just fun all the way."
