"BIZARRE is the coming together of two types of filmmaking - the factual and the fictional. And the end result is lively and organic.

The first is represented by footage shot by FAURE in the titular club, its clientele made up of exhibitionists whose acts and roles go from burleque and fetishist. This is the place where the narrative takes place, driven by a young French boy named Maurice, who seems to find himself at the center of this world without really trying. This also creates a stark juxtaposition of the representation of the contrast of exhibition in general, more particularly between those who seek it, and those who have it naturally - in this case the latter represented by the eighteen year old boy, who attracts attention upon himself without really trying.

While the film is sexy, colourful, vibrant - in some cases a true show of decadence - it is also surprising for its depiction of a utopian type of setting as well as as a sweet portrayal of innocence."
