"Munich is probably not only Spielberg’s most demanding work, but also his more intimate. It follows the counter attacks after the brutal terrorist attack on the Israeli Olympic team in the Berlin Olympics of 1972. Loosely based around the novel Vengeance, this film is a thought provoking film that really relies on Kushner’s dialogue oriented script. Thankfully, Spielberg proves himself tasteful once again by not taking centre stage and tastefully yet meticulously portraying a difficult message to tackle by employing a style that goes beyond the political thriller structure and even retains some intense scattered action sequences."
