"Based on a Michael Crichton film, this is the story of a psychologist whose writings on how to deal with extraterrestrial lives is involved in an investigation on a spaceship where some strange and mysterious forces are at bay. While the concept may seem unfamiliar, it is nothing relatively new and has been explored by filmmakers such as Tarkovsky in the past. The thing that differentiates this film is that, despite its slow pace, it employs a much broader and more commercial approach. Sadly, that leaves little to challenge the audience that is looking for more than a straight forward mystery with some strange plot twists set in space."
