As he puts on the show, he falls for a woman who becomes his muse. A romantic comedy full of delight, life and creativity, this film draws great inspiration from bizarre aspects of its setting of time and place but also remains faithful and respectful towards the famous author and his work. Furthermore, the performances are great all around. What is most interesting about the film, however, is that it does not conceal or in any way underplay the excitement and aura of the theatre, as well as the passion and dedication to it of the people involved in it."
