"A legendary "tracker" is pulled out of returement to go after a particularly visiou group of cowboys. Reluctanly, needing more men, he allows his son to tag along, introducing him hence to a world of violence he thought he had long left behind. 

THE TRACKER feels like an autopiloted summation of many of the most familiar narrative elements of the western genre. There is little even KRIS KRISTOFFERSON can do to elevate the interest in a tired, average TV production where even the element of cinematography, that usually saves even the most average of Western films, feels quite uninspired. Not to mention that the screenplay itself is terribly naive and every one of its twists predictable."
