"A hapless bounty hunter tracks down his reporter ex-wife who skipped her bail to investigate on a story. 

Despite the interesting and somewhat unique storyline, THE BOUNTY HUNTER is the usual romantic comedy full of half hearted innuendos and the typical conventional storyline, neatly wrapped in a bow. Director ANDY TENNANT has none of the cleverness and wit of a filmmaker like FRANK CAPRA, who might have been able to turn this second rate screenplay into something reeking less of obviousness. 

To add to the ordeal of sitting through the film, is the lack of chemistry between the two leads in the film, JENNIFER ANISTON and GERARD BUTLER, who are on auto pilot and who replace any form of sexual or romantic tension with awkwardness."
