On the one hand, it seems legitimately interested in exploring themes of intolerance and some heavy psychological aspects of isolation and alienation as a result of war. On the other hand, it does so in a campy way, perhaps unable to fully opt for a more fulfilling and experimental approach and equally and simply developing into an average B-movie."
