"Up to this film, Italian comedic trio Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo somewhat overachieved expectations with good, solid and even intellent vehicles. However, their third feature Ask Me if I'm Happy is a little too unfocused and its intentions are rather confused. 

The premise is quite good, as it follows three friends as they try to set up a production of the Cyrano de Bergerac. However, eventually, a pretty half hearted love affair takes over the plot, and the film is left thriving on some really great comedic gags, despite feeling a little less creative and more forced than in the previous two films."
