"A sap stages a fake robbery to take place in front of his girlfriend's father who does not like him, in order for him to win his approval. Needless to say, the plan goes terribly wrong and leads to the usual rapid fire succession of gags that characterise Larry Semon's clownish slapstick comedy. More particularly, it is structured by his favoured chase based narrative. 

Like most of Semon's works, however, Bathing Beauties and Big Boobs has not aged well, and it is mostly because of the frantic speed. A further proof of its unfavourable ageing comes from the title itself, which by today's standards is not only gloriously inappropriate, but also possibly the funniest gag in the whole film."
