"ALWAYS TOGETHER is a documentary that follows the life of a Czech family with nine children living in a meadow in the mountains far from civilizations. 

Director EVA TOMANOVA follows them in their everyday life over a period of time by using a fly on the wall approach. This results in a mostly non judgemental approach and prevents any grand final statement, choosing to retain a certain distance between the camera and the subject in order to achieve a true representation of their eccentric lifestyle, supported by strong ethical views. 

There is no real defined narrative arch, therefore the film is more life a snapshot unburdened by traditional cinematic structures. However, it is not lacking in charisma, particularly thanks to the patriarchal figure in the family who is outlandish and fascinating."
