Wexford actress Aoife Spratt wins award for her performance in Trampoline at LA Indie Fest

"We have just won our first award on the festival circuit!" announced the Trampoline team on their website. In fact, Wexford actress Aoife Spratt won Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Trampoline at this year's LA Indie Fest.

The film is the feature film debut of Tom Ryan, who wrote and directed it. It was produced by Claire Gormley. Trampoline tells the story of an English teacher in her 20’s (played by Spratt) who returns to her hometown of Nenagh to work at her local school, while dealing with the fallout of her father leaving her family.

Trampoline is an independent production. The film was shot in Tipperary and founded by local businesses. It was remarkably made for less that 1000 euro.
