"The theses of a Harvard undergraduate ends up in the hands of an enterprising bum, who agrees to give it back in exchange for food and shelter. But during his stay, his ramblings about life and love end up teaching the young man and his housemates precious lessons. The beginning, middle and an end are much too straight forward and old for a premise that sounds interesting and could have been a lot more, particularly considering that Pesci as the bum is in top shape, and Fraser fits the shoes of the undergraduate well."
