" The very gripping drama about Hitler’s last days in the bunker. As the Nazis come to the realisation that the war is lost, they either think about escape from Berlin, or suicide. Hirschbiegel’s film feels like an intimate portrayal, one that could only have come out of Germany itself. Ganz’s performance is one of the best, if not the best of the Nazi leader, revealing his difficult state of mind and bipolarity. A fine film, though the last fifteen minutes seem a little disoriented."
