"A failed baseball player may inherit 300 million dollars, but only if he can spend 30 million of them in 30 days and in the end remain penniless and without assets.

BREWSTER'S MILLIONS is a nice concept taken from the oft adapted book by George Barr McCutcheon, poorly executed, messy and with a half hearted concern for genuine emotions, mostly driven by a need for structure. One of the far too many half hearted cinematic vehicles for RICHARD PRYOR, a comedy legend known for his raw to the point of controversial antics, whose freshness and charisma could sadly arguably never quite be translated to the big screen.
