"A Vietnam vet finds a case with two million dollars in it, and is chased by a psychopathic and murderous ex-special ops agent while an old sheriff hopelessly tries to help him. The Coen brothers borrow tension and drama from classic filmmaking, especially the western genre, and create tension in a very stylish way, but it’s the existential undertones that differentiate this film from others of the kind as life and death are represented in depth within the three character violent chase. The performances are excellent all around, with Bardem shining as the maniacal villain."
