"In perhaps the least impressive Bond movie of the Connery era, special effects tend to take over in the film recounting a mission about a search for a plane with a nuclear payload. Though the build up is quite slow and the film demandingly long, there are still quite a few sequences that are worth watching; apart from the wonderful underwater finale, the opening sequence is among the best committed to a Bond film."
