29/4/2016 - "Tommy's Honour" to open 70th Edinburgh International Film Festival

Jason Connery's film, shot entirely in Scotland, will open the 70th edition of the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

The 70th Edinburgh International Film Festival will open with the World Premiere of the film Tommy's Honour

The film will screen on the opening night of the festival, June 15, at Festival Theatre. 

Shot entirely in Scotland, Tommy's Honour is based on the true story of golfing pioneer and legend Tom Morris and his turbulent relationship with his son. Tommy's Honor is directed by Jason Connery (The Philly Kid) and stars Academy Award winning actor Peter Mullan alongside Jack Lowden and Sam Neill. Key cast will be in attendance at the screening.
