3/5/2016 - De Niro to attend "Hands of Stone" screening in Cannes 2016

Robert De Niro will attend a special screening of Jonathan Jakubowicz's film, in the main competition line-up of the 69th Cannes Film Festival.

Robert De Niro will attend a special screening of Hands of Stone at the Cannes Film Festival in the Grand Theatre Lumiére of the Palais des Festivals on May 16. 

Hands of Stone is directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz, and is part of the Official Competition line-up in Cannes this year. 

The movie is about the common history of Panamanian boxer Roberto Duràn (Edgar Ramírez) and manager and coach Ray Arcel (Robert De Niro) who is going to take him to the highest worldwide successes of the ring in the '70s and '80s, including legendary fights against Sugar Ray Leonard.
