"In this Warner Bros. animated short, book covers of classic literature novels literally come to life. The idea is charming but the overal presentation is a little weak and too conventionally structured around the silly symphony formula, very popular at the time in family animation. 

There are some highlight moments in Book Revue - one of these worthy of note is one in which Daffy Duck puts on Danny Boy clothes and scats to Little Red Riding Hood, trying to convince her not to go to her grandma's house and neet the big bad wolf."
