"FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT REVISITED is a tongue in cheek tribute to the BEASTIE BOYS, by one of the BEASTY BOYS originals ADAM YAUCH. Its story picks up from the narrative of the video to their popular hit song FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT, and the film follows them as they walk about the city, break into a liquor store, drop acid with groupies, meet time-traveling future versions of themselves and so on. 

Indirectly, this is also a tribute to the original MTV generation, the music channel that popularised music videos, back when it really did play music and was less fixated on trashy reality TV. Thus, it has a lot of nostalgia. 

But despite what people might think, to say that this is only aimed at BEASTIE BOYS fans would be unjust. FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT REVISITED is a commendable, exciting, short film with a seemingly endless examination and vibrant technical experimentation both with editing and cinematography, all of which is dictated by some great tracks by the band. 

DANNY MCBRIDE, ELIJAH WOOD, and SETH ROGEN play the BEASTIE BOYS here, but the film is enriched by an endless array of cameos by big names, such as SUSAN SARANDON, WILL FERRELL, ORLANDO BLOOM and JACK BLACK to name but a very few."
