Audio - Filmmaker Colin Downey and actress Emma Eliza Regan meet the kids of Scoil na nÓg after the screening of THE SHADOWS

A class of young students from Scoil na nÓg was momentarily taken away from the drag of schoolbooks and pens to attend to a special screening of the Irish film The Shadows, which took place at the Gate Cinema on Wednesday and was part of the programme of the 58th Cork Film Festival. Filmmaker Colin Downey and actress Emma Eliza Regan attended the screening and stopped to answer the kids' questions at a Q and A session that followed it.

The Shadows was written and directed by Colin Downey. It is based on a fairy-tale by George MacDonald, and it follows a nine-year-old boy's adventures after finding a key to the magical world of the mystical Shadow people at the bottom of his grandmother's backgarden.
