27/2/2015 - The 26th Cork French Film Festival kicks off this Sunday

The Cork French Film Festival is set to showcase the best in French cinema for the 26th time, starting from this sunday, 1st of March.
 
One of the major themes of this year's edition will be an exploration of the work of Mathieu Amalric, whose film The Blue Room will open the festival. He will participate in a series of Q and A's and will be giving and actors' masterclass.
 
Another highlight of the festival will be the screening of Moon Man by award winning author Tomi Ungerer, who will be present at the screening. There will be a special screening of Germain Dulac's 1927 surreal silent film L'Invitation au Voyage, while the documentary Natural Resistance by Jonathan Nossiter will be of particular interest to food fans as it will be followed by a rustic banquet paired with natural wines from the growers features in the film.
