"A morally deranged businessman, whose business is failing, is one a path of destruction of everything in his life and everything that lies in his way during a night out with his friends and their spouses.

CHARLIE CASANOVA marks the feature debut of Irish filmmaker TERRY MCMAHON. It is a film that is bound to infuriate the viewer, because of its complete lack of likeable character. Despite the choice being legitimate and aimed at provoking the viewer through an angry tone that is meant to anger its audience, it is equally as frustrating to think that the film obviously aims to get a cross a wider message on economy and moral decadence, but this message is quite hard to read because of its intent in coming across as a despicable film. And this considerably lessens its impact."
