"An overanxious insurance risk analyst just dumped by his wife on his honeymoon, meets an adventurous girl named Polly whose only flaw is a generalised lack of commitment. 

Reading the premise of Along Came Polly, one might even expect some prominent Woody Allen influences. Indeed, the film's artwork played around with this juxtaposition. However, there is close to no wit or intelligence in this film, and right from the start it is clearly shaped by a childish type of humour that more often than not falls quite flat."
