"Based on a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Last Time I Saw Paris is the troubled love story between a man and a woman set in Paris just after its liberation following the second world war. It's a nice film with some fine performances, but can't help coming across as a little disappointing. It seems to be a little too reliant on melodrama to fill the many storyline plots and aid an emotional connection with its audience that would otherwise be sorely and completely lacking."
