"A director ends up with a Fellini script in his hands by complete fluke, and he films it. The film is about a singer from Naples looking for fame and fortune in the North of Italy, aided by her manager, who is in love with her. A strange slapstick comedy with a mixed style of television variety shows and improvisation, a mix that forces the film to alternate between hilarious moments and dull moments, as well as moments of utter confusion."
