Soon enough they are on the run from the law and the gang whose cocaine stash they accidentally picked up and are trying to sell. Well paced crime thriller with a cool nineties style and a cast of big names, but the best feature is undoubtedly the Quentin Tarantino screenplay. True Romance in fact may have been brought to that screen in that blockbuster sheen and eccentricity of Tony Scott, but it is the post modernist infused screenplay that really makes it come alive."
