"Typical campy drive-in creature feature B-movie specifically aimed at a young audience. Beast from Haunted Cave has the peculiarity of looking exactly like a typical Roger Corman production, but the famous B-movie mogul had nothing to do with it. It is also directed by Two Lane Blacktop helm Monte Hellman, although there is very little to remark about this directorial job of his. 

A gang of students try to pull off a major gold heist in the mountains. Their plans are ruined by a sinister beast. Sexual situation set-ups are quite laughable, also due to the terrible acting. Some particularly sequences one can only presume would have been great for an easily distracted audience making out on a car's front seat. However, to sit through a film like this, with terrible special effects and a complete lack of tension is far too testing for even the biggest of fans of films of this kind.
