"A young boy, alienated by his father and bullied by his schoolmates retreats to the attic of his school and starts reading from a magical book. Eventually, after reading of all the magical creatures and adventures of a young boy, he realises he himself may be the only one that can save the land of Fantasia from disappearing into nothing. A most loved classic of the fantasy film genre, this film can also be admired for its psychological undertones that are less obvious than one would think. But what really tops the bill are the visuals and special effects, which being a Petersen film, are excellent and really portray the land of Fantasia as a majestically magical wonderland."
