BROKEN SPECS is bland and dull in its representation of a youth that is every bit as boring, uninterested and slightly elienated as the young man who is its central character. At six minutes in length, this feels like little more than an average student film, which tells a well rounded simple story but that offers little and never claims to want to give anything to the viewer in the first place."
