"Inspired by Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs feature lenght animation film, Paramount produced one themselves based on the tale of a sea man who lands in a place populated by little people on the brink of a war. The result is cute, the animation is nice but the overall film is forgettable, cliché and too childishly naïve, even considering the obvious parallels between the themes of this film and what was going on in the real world at the time. Nevertheless, this may still be the best on screen adaptation of the famous novel."
