"A man, forced to run one last errand for his criminal boss and pick up a gun, must also deal with his girlfriend, who was kidnapped by a homosexual hitman to make sure he get the job done. The bickering couple gimmick in the film is never one of the assets of the film and always nothing but annoying. To make things worse for Verbinski’s film, the pace is dull and the storyline tangles to the point of seeming chaotic. Stylistically the film has its moments, but even the stars Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt have seen better days."
