The film sounds straight forward, but is actually exciting with its fictionalised account of a day in the life of the band told in an exciting way with documentary style photography and yet a script that is witty and even true to the perceived personalities of the individual members in the most famous band ever. The film is entertaining, and its style no doubt went on to influence greatly not only other movies of the kind, but also music videos in general – and just for the record, the soundtrack is absolutely brilliant, including such well known songs as the titular track and Can’t Buy Me Love."
