"A man sentenced to death gets a second chance at life after he wakes up mysteriously as a worker in the psychiatric hospital of a small, nameless town. However, he finds himself unable to accept his current situation due to him being convinced that he had a life before the hospital, with a wife and a daughter. 

THE LAZARUS PROJECT starts off with an interestingly provocative premise. However, its flawed screenplay steers it towards all too familiar grounds, leaving behind it a trail of trivial turns and implausibilities. A wasted opportunity, far too conventional and underwhelming."
